Job summary

Orting School District is seeking a Custodian Supervisor to lead the custodial staff and support the Director of Facilities in maintaining hazardous and safe conditions in district facilities. The role emphasizes team leadership, adherence to district protocols, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for students and the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Washington State driver''s license.
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds (50 lb).
• Ability to stoop and bend.
• Ability to climb to the height of fifteen (15) feet.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and the public; promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Facilities with supervisory responsibilities for the custodial department.
• Report custodial concerns to the Director of Facilities.
• Ensure custodial duties align with the district Custodial Services Handbook.
• Maintain cleanliness of buildings and campus.
• Provide night security of assigned facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Building Administrator.
