Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Redmond, Oregon is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee custodial staff, assign workloads, train new employees, and ensure clean, safe facilities across offices, classrooms, fitness centers, laboratories, furnishings and entrances.

The position requires leadership, planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to enforce policies while maintaining high sanitation and safety standards for all areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Custodial staff directly with clear instructions and independent judgment.
• Schedules work activities and adjusts workloads for absences and priorities.
• Inspects work quality and directs corrective actions to meet guidelines.
• Develops custodial team through instruction and performance evaluations.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring of custodial staff.
• Enforces company policies, issues warnings, and supports progressive discipline.
• Ensures provision of equipment and supplies; manages requests and storage.
• Evaluates new supplies/equipment and reports needs.
• Reports building condition and repair needs; conducts regular inspections.
• Maintains accurate records of time and absences.
• Performs daily custodial duties and handles emergencies as needed.
• Ensures subcontracted services meet contract standards.
