Job summary

Cedar Springs Public Schools is seeking a Facilities Caretaker for the Red Hawk/District Office on a part-time night shift. The role offers 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours after 5:00 PM during the school year.

Occasional extra hours may be available to support district events and maintenance. Responsibilities include cleaning, building maintenance, event setup, and coordinating with the Facilities Night Lead and staff to ensure a positive environment for students,

Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

Enhance the overall experience for students, staff, parents and visitors in district buildings.
Support day-to-day activities, staff, events and general maintenance within assigned building(s).
Complete daily cleaning and support tasks as directed by the Assistant Director of Facility Services.
Provide event support and set-up/tear-down.
Communicate with staff and leadership on daily needs and long-term planning.
Build strong working relationships with co-workers and staff.
Respond courteously to all community members and act as a customer service representative.
Troubleshoot day-to-day issues to support school activities.
Support district goals with Facilities Services and Operations.
