Cedar Springs Public Schools in Cedar Springs, Michigan is seeking part-time Facility Services Student Cleaners for after-school shifts. You will help keep our district buildings clean and safe, supporting events, and assisting night caretakers as needed.

This role involves light cleaning duties after school, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and working Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM during the school year. Starting immediately; compensation $13.73 per hour.

Responsabilidades

• Complete daily cleaning and support tasks as assigned by the Building Lead and Night Head Caretakers.
• Event support and set-up/tear-down.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with co-workers and staff.
• Respond in a courteous and helpful manner to all members of the community, treating them as our customers.
• Problem solving through the day to best support school activities.
• Support the overall goals of the district, Facility Services Team, and Operations Department.
• Additional duties as directed by the Building Lead or Night Head Caretakers.

Job Description

Minimum Age Requirement of 16 years old; student employees will not handle hazardous substances, or do anything prohibited in the Youth Employment Standards Act.

Shift

• 10 hours/week. Monday-Friday. 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM. School-year only.

Cedar Springs Public Schools is a Preschool through 12th-grade public school consisting of over 3,000 students and nearly 400 employees. We are located within the city limits of Cedar Springs, Michigan in Kent County. Cedar Springs Public Schools is one of 20 member public school districts within the Kent Intermediate School District (KISD).
