Job summary

Shaner Hotels' Inn at Bellefield in the Hudson Valley seeks a friendly F&B associate to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure smooth service. You will also handle payments and help keep the restaurant area and equipment in top condition.

Requirements include at least one year in a public-facing role, ability to work weekends/holidays, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A bilingual English/Spanish background is a plus, with ServSafe and TIPS training preferred.

Qualifications

• Min one year experience in a similar public-facing role.
• Must meet state age requirement to serve alcohol.
• Clear communication with guests, management and staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and food to guest tables.
• Collect payments.
• Assist in maintaining the restaurant area and equipment.
