Job summary

ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled extrusion technician to operate and maintain extrusion machinery in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and meeting production goals on a Mon-Thu schedule from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of related experience, a HS/GED, and strong time management. Responsibilities include setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and training new crew members while ensuring compliance with safety and quality

Qualifications

HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred.
2–4 years' experience in a related field.
This position has no leadership duties.
Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive information.
Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Safely sets up, operates, and monitors extrusion machinery to meet production goals.
Completes machine setup for production runs including loading materials and calibrating equipment.
Monitors production, tests materials and equipment to ensure quality and quotas.
Verifies and tracks materials for inventory and work in progress.
Troubleshoots equipment and performs routine maintenance.
Trains and guides machine assistants and new crew members.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of machinery and surrounding areas.
Follows safety guidelines and wears PPE; reports hazards.
Completes necessary documentation for internal/external use.
Collaborates with other departments to coordinate production activities.
