Responsibilities

• Safely sets up, operates and monitors extrusion machinery to meet production goals
• Performs extrusion machine setup for production runs including loading materials and calibrating equipment
• Monitors production, inspects materials and equipment to ensure quality and quotas are met
• Verifies and tracks materials for inventory and work in progress
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and conducts routine maintenance
• Trains and guides machine assistants and new crew members
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of machinery and surrounding areas
• Follows safety guidelines and reports hazards; uses PPE as required
• Completes necessary documentation for internal or external use
• Collaborates with other departments to coordinate production activities
