Job summary

Sunnyside Community Services, Inc. seeks an ESOL Instructor to implement curriculum, deliver courses, track attendance, and prepare students' progress reports. In-person classes run Monday–Thursday from 6–9 pm, totaling 12 hours weekly, with Fall/Winter/Spring sessions spanning 2026–2027.

An additional class may be available at $45/hour plus 3 hours of prep time weekly. A Master’s in TESOL and 3+ years’ experience teaching adult immigrants are required; proficiency with BEST Plus and MS Office

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in TESOL.
• Minimum of three years of experience teaching the adult immigrant population.
• Proficiency with computer applications and data management.

Responsibilities

• Provide English language instruction to adults in the evenings (Mon-Thu, 6–9 pm).
• Tailor curriculum for levels of instruction based on pre/post assessments.
• Administer BEST Plus tests and report achievement results.
