Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team in Darby, PA. The position offers a 24-hour week with a shift from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, including weekends as needed, and focuses on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, a PA RN license (or compact state), and BLS; ACLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania or Compact State License (PA).
• BLS Certification required; ACLS certification as applicable to area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Assist emergent patients and document on Emergency Room nursing tools.
• Identify patient needs from objective data and document appropriately.
• Implement nursing actions for each patient and exercise sound judgment.
• Discuss care plans with patient and family and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
