Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the Evening shift. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with hours from 7pm to 7:30am and every third weekend for a demanding, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and care teams in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individually tailors patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality and effectiveness via quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
