Job summary

CSU Veterinary Health is seeking an Environmental Services Associate for the evening shift in Fort Collins. The role performs daily cleaning and disinfection of examination rooms, restrooms, procedure rooms, and clinical spaces, and handles routine floor maintenance.

You will also manage laundry, stock supplies, and dispose of waste in line with strict sanitary protocols. This essential worker position offers hourly differentials and requires a high school diploma and cleaning experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Cleaning experience in a commercial environment.
• Experience in custodial work in medical/veterinary settings preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial cleaning and disinfection of clinical, animal care, and public areas following sanitary protocols.
• Clean and sanitize animal holding areas, equipment, cages, exam and treatment spaces.
• Maintain floors and carpets with sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and vacuuming.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks including stripping/waxing floors and shampooing carpets.
• Manage laundry operations and distribute linens to units.
• Stock and replenish custodial, animal care, and medical supplies.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables per procedures.
