Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Cleaning Associate for the 2nd shift (4:00 pm - 12:30 am). This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in variable temperatures and around smells.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, windows, walls, floors and restrooms.
• Handles cleaning chemicals and disinfectants; may assist with outdoor cleaning.
• Removes waste and hazardous materials; transports waste to disposal areas.
• Maintains and reports on equipment; coordinates with maintenance staff on issues.
• Follows infection control guidelines and safety procedures.
• Participates in required training and safety updates.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines consistently.
