Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Environmental Services teammate in Chicago. The role involves cleaning and maintaining patient areas, floors, and rooms with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

Schedule is 5pm to 1:30am with rotating weekends and holidays, totaling about 20 hours per week. A High School Diploma or GED and prior housekeeping experience are preferred, with opportunities for growth in a major health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, strip, polish and refinishes floors using proper equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as ringers, vacuums and floor machines.
• Clean and sanitize after spills; follow department processes.
• Maintain floor and carpet conditions per department guidelines.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness, assist with room turnover and patient areas.
