Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois seeks a part-time Environmental Services Associate to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices and common areas according to department procedures. You will operate cleaning equipment, follow safety policies, and maintain a safe, courteous environment for patients, families and staff.

Work 24 hours per week with a 3:00 pm–11:30 pm schedule, every other weekend and holiday. Requires High School Diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 35 pounds; uniform provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Able to read and follow department procedures and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean/disinfect assigned areas including patient rooms, offices and common areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment and manage supplies per procedures.
