Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Evening Supervisor for Environmental Services to oversee cleaning operations during the 5:00pm–1:30am shift. The role includes interviewing, hiring, counseling, and promoting staff, and training team members to meet high-quality cleaning standards.

The ideal candidate has healthcare cleaning experience and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include scheduling, evaluating staff, conducting QA inspections, and leading weekly huddles to address customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with nine (9) years of experience including environmental services or housekeeping
• Five (5) years of environmental services or housekeeping experience (hospital setting preferred)
• Two (2) years customer service experience
• Two (2) years Supervisory or Project Lead experience
• Valid Driver's License; must obtain Florida license within 6 months
• AA/AS degree plus seven (7) years of related experience or BA/BS with five (5) years in environmental services and two (2) years supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations during evening hours (5:00pm–1:30am)
• Interview, hire, counsel, discipline, and promote team members
• Train and develop staff and team leaders to high cleaning standards
• Adapt to changes and participate in higher level department decisions
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and weekly staff huddles
