Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Evening Supervisor to oversee Environmental Services operations during the 5:00pm–1:30am shift. You will manage staffing, ensure cleaning standards, and partner with leadership to drive safety and quality across the department.

Ideal candidate has healthcare cleaning experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to train, coach, and evaluate staff, with a focus on patient and visitor experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and nine years of experience in a related role.
• Five years of environmental services or housekeeping experience, hospital setting preferred.
• Two years customer service experience and two years supervisory or lead experience.
• Valid driver’s license; Florida license within six months or equivalent.
• BA/BS with five years of environmental service/housekeeping and two years in supervision (may be waived with related experience).

Responsibilities

• Oversee evening Environmental Services operations (5:00pm–1:30am).
• Interview, hire, counsel, discipline, and promote team members as needed.
• Train and develop staff and leaders to maintain high cleaning standards.
• Make operational decisions and adapt to department needs.
• Lead weekly huddle meetings and ensure policy adherence and safety.
