Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with nine (9) years of experience including environmental services or housekeeping
• Five (5) years of environmental services or housekeeping experience (hospital setting preferred)
• Two (2) years customer service experience
• Two (2) years Supervisory or Project Lead experience
• Valid Driver's License; must obtain Florida license within 6 months
• AA/AS degree plus seven (7) years of related experience or BA/BS with five (5) years in environmental services and two (2) years supervisory experience

Summary

The Supervisor Environmental Services Evening is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations of the Environmental Services Department. All of these responsibilities will be performed specifically during the evening hours (i.e. 5:00pm - 1:30am). He/She is also responsible for interviewing, hiring, counseling, disciplining, recommending Team Members for promotions, etc. This position will train and develop team members and team leaders to ensure they are performing at the highest level and attaining high quality cleaning standards consistently.

The Supervisor Environmental Services Evening must be able to adapt to changes and make operational decisions as well as be involved in higher level decisions affecting the department.

The Ideal Candidate

• The Ideal Candidate will have healthcare cleaning experience and strong leadership skills
• Manages scheduling, counseling staff, project assignment and compliance, ordering, inventorying, and distribution of supplies and linen, interviewing, evaluating and selecting applicants for open positions, time/attendance validation and shift logs, approves PTO, maintains team member files, performs team member evaluations with recommendations for merit increases
• Conducts quality assurance inspections (visual and other) observations, cart inspections, and tracks team member progress
• Conducts weekly huddle meetings, trains staff, gives ongoing feedback on performance, responds to customer needs, and brings issues to resolution
• Provides leadership for staff and ensures adherence to policies, productivity standards, and safety guidelines. Uses teamwork to help the department accomplish goals. Responsible for managing daily operations, problem solving, and properly allocating staff. Ability to engage team and foster a positive, caring, respectful, team building environment.

Credentials and Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with nine (9) years of experience to include the following:
• Five (5) years of environmental services or housekeeping (preferably in a hospital setting)
• Two (2) years customer service experience
• Two (2) years Supervisory or Project lead experience
• Valid Driver's License required, must obtain Florida Driver's License within 6 months of employment
• Evidence of a good driving record and maintain a good record per Moffitt policy OR AA/AS degree plus a minimum of seven (7) years' experience as stated above.
• BA/BS degree with five (5) years of environmental service or housekeeping experience (preferably in a hospital setting), and two(2) years of experience as a Supervisor, Lead or Project Lead *Years of experience requirements can be reduced by two (2) years in any category with Moffitt related work experience.

Salary Range

$52,124.80 - $79,539.20

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job‑related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
