Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Environmental Services Aide Level I to maintain a clean, sanitary environment supporting high-quality patient care at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. This role is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit and reports to the Supervisor of Environmental Services.

The position requires following established policies and procedures with attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to work evenings as a per diem onsite staff member.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of environmental services/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, surfaces, floors in patient care areas to high cleanliness standards.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Mop and vacuum floors; transport trash per regulations.
• Clean facility entrances and glass; adjust draperies and blinds.
• Move beds, change mattresses, and set up meeting rooms as required.
• Follow safety and infection control policies at all times.
