Job summary

The Highland Hospital of Rochester NY is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Attendant for 40 hours per week, evenings, Monday through Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm, with every-other weekend and holiday requirement. This role supports a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff in line with Joint Commission and NYSDOH standards.

Responsibilities include providing efficient housekeeping services and contributing to patient care and the hospital environment while following

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; 6 months experience required.
• Experience: 6 months experience required or completion of criteria for ESW-2 position demonstrated to supervisor
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and comprehensive housekeeping service to users.
• Contribute to enhancement of patient care and the environment in accordance with Joint Commission and NYSDOH policies.
• Maintain a pleasant, safe, welcoming and clean environment for patients, visitors and staff.
