Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an Environmental Care Technician at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. You will perform housekeeping duties in the Environmental Services Department and support patients, visitors, and staff with safe, courteous service.

You will work evenings 3:00 pm–11:30 pm with every-other weekend rotation, reporting to the Assistant Director of Environmental Services or the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Some on-the job experience as a housekeeper in healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge: Ability to read and comprehend instructions in writing and orally.
• Skills: Ability to read and write information in English regarding duty lists, instructional information, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department.
• Works with Assistant Director of Environmental Services or Housekeeping Supervisor regularly.
• Ensures timely, courteous, and competent services for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Accepts additional assignments to provide service excellence.
