Job summary

Trinity Health’s Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD seeks an Environmental Care Technician for the Evening shift. The role supports the Environmental Services Department by performing hospital housekeeping duties and ensuring safe, clean spaces for patients, visitors, and staff.

Under the direction of the Assistant Director or Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll follow cleaning standards, operate department equipment, and handle additional duties to deliver service excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Some on-the-job housekeeping in healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge: Ability to read and comprehend instructions written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties for the hospital's Environmental Services Department.
• Work with Assistant Director or Housekeeping Supervisor on a regular basis.
• Provide timely, courteous, and safe services for patients, visitors and staff.
• Accept additional assignments to support service excellence.
