Job summary

Western AZ Regional Medical Center is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Worker I to support our housekeeping department at 2735 Silver Creek Rd, Bullhead City, AZ. The evening shift runs as needed from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

The Environmental Service Worker I will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing cleaning, floor care, and waste management tasks while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of cleaning or environmental service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
• Understanding of infection control and safety standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift or move objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas, ensuring infection control standards.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and dusts floors, furniture, and equipment.
• Maintains floors and surfaces per department procedures.
• Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and other surfaces.
• Restocks supplies and monitors inventory.
• Handles trash and biohazardous materials safely.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment; reports malfunctions.
• Assists with minor repairs and reports larger issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
