Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ seeks an Environmental Services Worker I to support our Housekeeping department on a full-time basis. Day shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with weekend and holiday rotation.

You will contribute to a clean, safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff. The role requires adherence to hygiene and infection-control standards, with responsibilities for cleaning, floor care, waste management, and inventory restocking.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years cleaning or environmental service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas per infection control standards.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting floors and surfaces.
• Restocks supplies and monitors inventory levels.
• Handles waste and biohazard materials safely per safety protocols.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance.
