Job summary

Kforce Inc. in Redmond, WA is seeking a Weeknight Lab Test Operator/Technician to support day-to-day testing in an electronics and semiconductor lab. You will operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE), load chips and wafers, run test programs and document results with precision.

Ideal candidates have hands-on soldering experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed procedures while collaborating with engineers and lab staff during evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on soldering experience is highly important and required.
• Experience with electronics, electrical systems or lab equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document testing activity accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with engineers and technicians.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently.
• Willingness to learn specialized testing equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to test chips, wafers and components.
• Load chips and wafers and select the appropriate test programs.
• Manage day-to-day testing operations to keep schedules.
• Monitor equipment to ensure readiness and operation.
• Change test equipment components, fixtures, and programs as required.
• Maintain accurate testing data logs and results.
• Assist with debugging and troubleshooting of test setups.
• Perform soldering and rework as needed to support testing.
