Job summary

Astronics AES is seeking a Production Test Technician for the Weekend Shift in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on testing assembled electronic parts or products for defects using precision equipment, with emphasis on 5s, safety, calibration, and quality.

The candidate will read blueprints, troubleshoot circuits, and assist in set-ups for specialized test equipment while ensuring production quality and throughput. The position pays hourly wages and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field, or equivalent electronics military schooling/experience.
• 1–2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position.
• High-power electronics or avionics experience may substitute for formal education.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Test and troubleshoot less complex assemblies and final systems.
• May complete rework on assemblies and systems after testing.
• Prepare reports summarizing findings.
• Assist in setup of specialized test equipment.
• Monitor and adjust production processes for quality and productivity.
• Follow blueprints and instructions to assemble electronics units.
