Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Goodyear, AZ seeks an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team. This role independently installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with some Saturdays as needed. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and ensuring quality and food safety tasks are performed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or electronic applications.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent repair capabilities across a range of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment (motors, drives, burners, packaging, scales) and facility systems.
• Repairs facility equipment (pumps, fans, HVAC, hydraulic systems).
• Troubleshoots PLC controlled equipment and minor electrical installations.
• Prepares, coordinates and implements preventive maintenance.
• Reads schematics and installs from drawings.
• Maintains food safety and quality responsibilities.
