Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Manufacturing team. The E/M Maintenance Tech is responsible to work independently installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

This role requires 2+ years of experience, ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, and PLC troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical and electronic applications acquired through 2+ years of experience.
• Able to read and work from blueprints, drawings and electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment quickly and independently.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Willingness to work at excessive heights.
• Must wear non-slip shoes and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment (motor controls, DC/AC drives and controls, frying and baking equipment, sheeters, extruders, temperature instrumentation, burner systems and controls, packaging machines, electronic scales, programmable logic controllers) etc.
• Repair various types of facility equipment (lift trucks, pumps, fans, air compressors, hydraulic equipment, HVAC) etc.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment.
• Prepares, coordinates and implements preventive maintenance.
• Completes installation and repair work from schematics and drawings.
• Capable of minor electrical installations.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.

Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Manufacturing team located in Goodyear, AZ. The E/M Maintenance Tech is responsible to work independently installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

Shift

Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with some Saturdays as needed.
