Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The shift is Monday to Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with responsibilities including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

The role emphasizes food safety and quality, requiring 2+ years of related experience or education, ability to read blueprints, and PLC

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, and electronic applications with 2+ years of experience or education.
• Able to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Capable of troubleshooting and repairing PLC-controlled equipment and production line machinery.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of production and facility equipment.
• Repair pumps, fans, air compressors, hydraulics, HVAC, and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and install work from schematics and drawings.
• Ensure food safety practices and SQF requirements during tasks.
