Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline preferred; certifications desirable.
• At least 3 years of work experience as a trainer in industry or related enterprise preferred.
• Current licenses/credentials related to program requirements desirable.
• Ability to organize work, design curricula and learning experiences, communicate effectively.
• Understanding of the community college mission and environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach courses in Industrial Technology emphasizing Electrical Maintenance.
• Teach 6–9 credit hours each Fall and Spring, evening schedule.
• Consult with students as needed.
• In collaboration with division, determine course content and curricula.
• Demonstrate or apply technologies useful for instruction, including PCs and LMS.
• Provide student advisement for returning students.
• Supervise students in on-the-job training.
