Job summary

Fresno City College is seeking a part-time Electrical Systems Technology Instructor to join a faculty pool. The instructor will teach on campus and at off‑site community locations, recruit and advise students, and collaborate with local manufacturers to place internships.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree with at least two years of related professional experience, or an associate degree with at least six years of related experience, or a valid California Community College credential, or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and advising students.
• Partner with local manufacturing companies to develop and place on‑the‑job student internships.
• Participate in departmental co‑curricular activities and related events.
• Perform duties related to categorical funding including dual enrollment objectives.
• Attend professional development conferences and meetings regarding dual enrollment or student success.
• Assist in advancing institutional mission and goals.
• Teach in various instructional settings and times, including evening/weekend, online or off‑campus, and large‑group instruction.
• Carry out duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years related experience

Associate degree + 6+ years related experience

Valid California Community College credential

Equivalency to above requirements
