Job summary

IECRM Rocky Mountain Chapter is hiring an Electrical Apprenticeship Instructor to teach IEC National Curriculum on a year-to-year contract. The role requires an active or retired electrician with a Colorado/Wyoming license and a Colorado Vocational Teaching Credential.

Training is provided; part-time, evening hours (5:30–9:30 p.m.) apply. The position reports to the Training Director and emphasizes integrity, competency, and collaboration in a diverse classroom.

Qualifications

• A valid Colorado or Wyoming journeyman or master electrician license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active or retired electrician; IECRM membership is a plus.
• Must obtain Colorado Vocational Teaching Credential from EGTC; IEC National Certification and State certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Teach IEC National Curriculum in a year-to-year contract.
• Prepare lesson plans and grade tests, quizzes, and homework.
• Maintain attendance records and CMS documentation.
• Uphold IECRM core values and foster an equitable work environment.
• Work schedule: evenings 5:30–9:30 p.m.; class cannot be dismissed before 9 p.m.
