Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Emergency Department, home to Hampton Roads' only Level I Trauma Center. You will work with a high-performing team to provide timely, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $25,000 and relocation assistance. The ED offers exposure to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical care cases within a Magnet-recognized

Qualifications

• BSN degree required and RN license.
• Emergency Department experience preferred; 18 months RN experience required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, and ACLS preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RN unit activities in the ED.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Deliver timely, high-quality care in a Level I trauma center.
• Support trauma, critical care, stroke, and cardiac cases.
