Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for Skokie Hospital, part-time 24 hours per week, evening shift (11am-11:30p) with rotating weekends. The role supports patient care, charting, and communication with the healthcare team.

Eligible candidates include those with US work eligibility; CNA training and BLS certification preferred, with training completion within 90 days if not current. Includes PPE usage and teamwork emphasis.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training course preferred.
• At least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association.
• If BLS is not current, certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care duties and transfers using appropriate equipment for non-emergency situations.
• Monitor patients, read and record patient charts, and communicate with healthcare team.
• Wear N95/PAPR and other PPE as required; assist during urgent events up to 50 pounds.
