Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Emergency Department on the night shift. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week, 7pm–7:30am with rotating weekends, at Skokie Hospital.

The role requires CNA training or clinical nursing rotations, current BLS, and strong teamwork with the ability to read patient charts and follow directions. Exposure to PPE and health risks is possible, with comprehensive benefits for staff.

Formación

• CNA training preferred.
• Completion of nursing clinical rotation preferred.
• Current BLS certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to follow directions.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support patient flow and daily duties with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Assess patients and read/record charts with clear visual acuity.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team while wearing masks.
• Protect yourself and patients from potential exposure to blood, body fluids and hazardous materials.
• Assist with patient transfers using proper equipment; lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Wear PPE (N95/PAPR) as required in clinical areas.
• Stand, walk, sit, bend, and move as needed during the shift.
