Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Connecticut RN license is required.
• ACLS/CPR certification or equivalent, within 3 months if not current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate and communicate nursing care in the ED.
• Assess patients and families with health history and exam.
• Initiate procedures, interpret results, adjust care per protocols.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Document care plans in the medical record.
