Job summary

Adventist Health Simi Valley seeks an experienced registered nurse to deliver coordinated care in the Emergency Department. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safety and quality in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection, discharge planning, supervising nursing staff, and selecting appropriate interventions. BSN preferred; state RN licensure, CPR/BLS and ACLS/PALS are required; 12-hour shifts with per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice (Required)
• CPR/BLS certification (Required)
• ACLS and PALS certifications (Required)

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyzes assessment data to diagnose and plan care.
• Develops and implements a care plan and coordinates care.
• Distributes supervision and coordination of nursing staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
