Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department evening shift (3pm–3:30am) with rotating weekends, totaling 36 hours per week. The role focuses on comprehensive patient care and collaboration with a fast-paced ED team.

Qualifications

• Current professional nursing licensure in the State of IL.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
