Job summary

CTG, a Cegeka company, is seeking a Document Scanning Operator to support our Digital Imaging Center in Chantilly, VA. You will assist with the preparation, scanning, and indexing of physical documents to convert them into digital formats while ensuring images meet quality and customer standards. Location: Chantilly, VA.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Duration: Ongoing Contract. Pay rate: $20.17/hr.

Qualifications

Experience with document scanning, records management, data entry, or office support.
Familiarity with high-volume document processing.
Experience using MS Office and basic data entry tools.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in a secure work environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, clips, rubber bands, and bindings
Validate and reconcile boxes and files received for processing
Scan documents using high-speed scanning equipment
Perform visual quality checks to ensure images are clear and accurate
Insert separator sheets and organize documents for proper imaging
Identify oversized or exception documents and escalated when necessary
Index scanned images according to customer guidelines
Follow all safety and security procedures
Assist with additional duties as assigned by the lead or manager
