Job summary

CTG is seeking a Document Scanning Operator for our Digital Imaging Center in Chantilly, VA. You will assist with preparation, scanning, and indexing of physical documents to convert them into digital formats while ensuring images meet quality and customer standards.

The role is an ongoing contract with a Monday–Friday schedule from 3 pm to 11:30 pm and a pay rate of $20.17/hr in Chantilly, VA. The position supports daily imaging operations and meeting project deadlines and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience with document scanning, records management, data entry, or office support.
• Familiarity with high-volume document processing.
• Experience using MS Office and basic data entry tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for scanning and remove staples, clips, rubber bands, and bindings.
• Validate and reconcile boxes and files received for processing.
• Scan documents using high-speed scanning equipment.
• Perform visual quality checks to ensure images are clear and accurate.
• Index scanned images according to customer guidelines.
• Follow all safety and security procedures.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the lead or manager.
