Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Part Time Dockworker at our Rock Island, IL Terminal. The role handles conveying freight to and from trailers by hand or with forklifts, ensuring safe handling and adherence to DOT requirements.

Pay starts at $22.67 per hour, with $26.52 per hour after your first year. Schedule is 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM start, offering steady hours in a rewarding logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a NON-DOT physical examination and functional screen.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen and pass it.
• Must read/write English and perform basic math.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs infrequently.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Convey freight to/from trailers by hand or with forklifts.
• Load and unload freight safely following DOT requirements.
• Sort and secure items on trucks and on the dock as needed.
