Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and ensure safe operation while delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities include lifting 10–160 lbs, loading and unloading, responding to urgent deliveries, and maintaining vehicle logs. A valid license, 1 year of related work, and Apria driver training completion are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of related work experience is required.
• 21 years of age or older and valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program is required.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs for daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies in patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer high level of customer service and support to patients who rely on equipment.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and support additional duties as assigned.
