Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge required.
• Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.
• Training provided: Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training to residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and in the community.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and encourage participation in group activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment and encourage independence and engagement.
