Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking compassionate Evening Residential Support Specialists to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will support evening routines, prepare meals, assist with personal care, provide medication administration, and help individuals pursue activities that foster independence.

The role offers both full-time and part-time shifts during the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM window, with weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• New Jersey driver’s license in good standing with no more than five points.
• Complete background checks and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with evening routines, meals, personal care, medication administration, housekeeping, and daily living tasks.
• Keep residential settings clean, organized, and comfortable.
• Encourage independence by supporting tasks and personal goals.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in a timely manner.
