Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, and a direct support provider, seeks a full-time Direct Support Staff for onsite evening shifts. Must have a valid license, clean driving record, and a personal vehicle. Training provided; 18+ with background checks required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license for 1 year with no restrictions.
• A clean driving record is required.
• Personal vehicle for on-the-job use, with valid insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative daily in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
