Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring a Direct Support Caregiver onsite in Marion, IA for the evening shift. Starting pay is $15.25 per hour with on-demand pay and a potential referral bonus.

No experience required; paid training provided to start a meaningful career in human services. As a full-time caregiver, you’ll help individuals with daily living activities, nutrition, community participation, and personal care, while building supportive, lasting relationships and growing

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for at least 1 year without restrictions.
• A clean driving record.
• Personal vehicle for on-the-job use, with valid insurance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
