Job summary

REM Community Services, a Sevita family company in Bemidji, MN, is seeking a full-time caregiver for evening shifts. Wage is $21.46 per hour. Shifts include Wed 1pm–9pm, Thur and Fri, and every other weekend 3pm–11pm; or Mon/Tues 1pm–9pm, End 10am–5pm, and every other weekend 9am–9pm.

Join a mission-driven team and help participants live well. You’ll support individuals in daily activities, personal care, and goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, while fostering community participation

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and help participants be part of the community.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
