Job summary

ND Health and Human Services seeks a Direct Care Supervisor for Ruth Meiers Adolescent Center in Grand Forks, ND. The role oversees residential care for youth, mentors daily living skills, and coordinates staff scheduling and training on an evening shift (2PM–12AM).

The position includes on-call coverage with a 5% pay premium and rotating weekends/holidays. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (or a bachelor’s degree in a related field) and at least three years of direct care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for direct care experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, train, and supervise direct care staff.
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide daily direction regarding service delivery to Residential Care staff.
• Assist individuals in articulating goals and self-advocacy strategies.
• Rotating on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays with 5% pay increase (approx. 10 days/month).
