ND HHS—NCHSC Open Arms in Minot, ND is seeking a Residential Direct Care Associate II/III for adults in a residential setting. The position supports life skills training, daily living activities, and self-advocacy to increase client independence.

Schedule includes full-time evenings (3pm-11pm), with day shifts as needed and rotating weekends and holidays. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, two years of direct care experience with special populations, and a valid driver's license

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of direct care experience with special populations.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of the defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide positive mentoring and guidance to adults with behavioral health disorders in a residential setting.
• Teach daily living activities such as household tasks, hygiene, and communication to promote independence.
• Model respectful interactions and support self-advocacy and self-help strategies.
• Assist individuals in articulating goals and developing steps to achieve them.
