Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking Direct Care Professionals for part-time evening shifts in a residential program in Massachusetts. You will support adults with developmental disabilities, help with daily living tasks, meals, personal care and accompany to medical appointments. Training is provided and paid on the job.

Openings are in Mansfield, Taunton, Fall River, and surrounding areas. No experience is required, and we offer benefits including health/dental/vision insurance and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• Be a compassionate person who enjoys making a difference in someone’s life.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record.
• Valid driver’s license and ownership/use of a personal vehicle.
• TB screening and physical upon hire; TB update every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program.
• Provide assistance with daily living activities and ensure a structured routine.
• Include meals preparation and meal planning.
• Assist with personal care and accompany to medical appointments.
• Distribute medications as required.
• Plan individual community outings and supervise activities.
