Job summary

Wellspring Living, an Atlanta-based nonprofit, is seeking a Direct Care Life Coach for the Women's Residential Program on the evening shift. The role supports daily living skills, trauma-informed care, and safety within the housing program.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (associates or bachelor’s preferred), a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification. 35 hours/week with Sunday–Thursday evenings; travel and documentation duties included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of direct care support experience in residential setting or with vulnerable populations.
• Valid Driver's License with clean MVR; authorized to transport participants.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn EHR software.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain within first year).
• Two professional references and one personal reference attesting suitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and facilitate evening program schedules and participant support.
• Model a strength-based approach in interactions with participants and team.
• Collaborate with leadership to support individualized growth and development plans.
• Safely transport participants to appointments and off-site meetings.
• Conduct routine house checks and room checks for elevated needs.
• Lead life skills groups and psycho-educational sessions during shifts.
